Returns and Exchange Policy Guide for Sellers

This guide outlines the steps sellers on Elonky can take to create and manage their return and exchange policies. On the Elonky platform, sellers can set different return and exchange policies for each listing. Below, you’ll find detailed instructions on how to manage this process and the general rules applicable across the platform.

1. Creating a Return and Exchange Policy
1.1 Defining Your Policy

As a seller, you must define your return and exchange policies before listing your products. Key points to consider when creating your policy include:

  • Conditions for Accepting Returns: Clearly specify the conditions under which you will accept returns, such as damaged products or customer dissatisfaction.
  • Return Timeframe: Set a timeframe for return requests. For example, 'Return requests are accepted within 14 days of receiving the product.'
  • Exchange Conditions:Define the conditions for product exchanges, specifying the types of products eligible for exchange.
1.2 Platform-Wide Rules

On Elonky, consumer rights require returns for certain products under specific circumstances. These typically include:

  • Defective or damaged products
  • Missing or incorrectly shipped products

In such cases, sellers are obligated to provide free returns and refunds to customers.
